The Arizona State Department of Education does not require Teachers to maintain CPR certification for licensure.. However, CPR certification requirements are decided by individual School Districts upon employment. Most employers will require a "Lay Rescuer" CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for all ages. This course is ideal for anyone working in front facing positions with children and youth.
