PAYMENT POLICY
Individuals are required to pay for courses and schedule skills session immediately via online appointment platform. Appointments will not be confirmed without payment. Business clients may opt out of using the online appointment platform to reserve training if they prefer to receive an invoice for payment when scheduling individual staff members for online courses.
For businesses scheduling training for their staff: Confirmation will be made to hold training date; However, payment must be received within 7 days and/or no later than 72 hours (if made within same week) of training request in order to prevent training from being canceled unless other arrangements have been made with the owner ahead of this deadline.
For public classes and private, individual training: No payments will be accepted day of training unless first approved by management and confirmed via email notification. Individuals granted an option to pay via invoice are done so as a courtesy on a case-by-case basis. Payment must be made within 7 days of request or no later than 72 hours of training (if scheduled in the same week) to avoid cancellation. We accept payment via invoice, online and via phone. Cash and check payments are accepted on a case by case basis and must be approved first by management and confirmed via email.
We are unable to refund fees for online/blended training courses once the video link has been registered and issued to you. If you are a healthcare professional and require training for your employer, be sure that you select the correct accreditation based on what your employer accepts. We are not responsible for certifications not accepted by your employer and no refunds will be given after the certification is granted. Refunds requested for classes not cancelled with advanced notice will incur a fee, as cards for certification and training materials are prepared in advance. A cancellation fee of 50 % will be retained if a refund is requested up until 24 hours before class. No refunds for cancelations within 24 hours of class. We will gladly reschedule your training as needed without a fee at any time with exception to our no call/no show policy.
There are instances when a scheduled class does not received the required minimum enrollment for students as required per the AHA, ARC or HSI training guidelines. When this occurs, we have no choice but to cancel the planned class and reschedule students for the next available course. Cancellations due to inadequate enrollment can occur up to 24 hours prior to your course training date. When this occurs, students are automatically enrolled in the next available course of the same type and will be contacted to confirm this auto enrollment or select an optional training date. Refunds can be provided less the cost of your previously issued e-book training materials and reserved certification card.
NO CALL/NO SHOWS *THIS INCLUDES NO CONTACT AFTER CLASS HAS BEEN IN SESSION FOR AN HOUR OR LONGER.* = NONREFUND CANCELATION. RESCHEDULING IS NOT ALLOWED IF AFTER AN HOUR PAST THE CLASS START TIME, WE’RE NOT NOTIFIED THAT YOU WOULD BE UNABLE TO ARRIVE. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR A NEW CLASS
To respect the time of others participating in class as well, we ask that all students arrive on time for the training. If you are running late (or having trouble finding the location), we ask that you please notify us as soon as possible by calling or texting us at (928) 900- 5087. Students who will be more than 10 minutes late may be asked to reschedule, and beyond 15 minutes without contacting us will require rescheduling. Please refer to the no call/no show policy above if there’s no contact with our company an hour past the time class began.
Depending on the location of your course, shoes may not be allowed on the areas where skills training will take place. Please wear clean socks to class in the event this is the case for your class.
In addition, we require that students wear comfortable clothing and shoes for classes that require hands on skills testing (such as CPR, PHTLS, Advanced First Aid, etc). Short cut tops, skirts and dresses are not ideal for this environment as you will be expected to do some skills practice on the floor which may not be appropriate for the attire. Open toe shoes are permissible, as long as they are not heels, which can potentially be a slipping/fall hazard. We are not responsible for any injuries (slips, trips, falls, etc) due to clothing or improper body mechanics due to choice of attire.
Business clients and groups are given a price rate based on the number expected to attend. This quoted price is based on the type of course(s) requested, the accreditation selected, and number of instructors required to hold the training (most courses have a 1:6 to 1:10 ratio). We ask that training requests be made at least 30 days in advance when possible. Training requested under 2 weeks notice will incur an additional $75 rush course set up fee.
Groups not having the expected number of students attend the scheduled training are required to pay the full quoted fee if adjustments are not made at least 7 days in advance.
We offer training for all ages, including groups consisting solely of or containing children age 11-17 years old are offered certification. Please check our courses offerings for our child focused safety trainings.
We do not provide 2 year certification cards for students of any age who will be unable to demonstrate clear understanding of course topics and skills via skills testing and/or written test. Children too young for certification cards or who are unable to demonstrate skills competency will be provided a letter recognizing attendance and completion of the course.
Parents do not need to attend a course with their minor child, however, written consent allowing you rminor child to attend is required
